It’s not just the stunning harbour views which guests remember the Crown and Anchor for. It’s the simple, yet delicious food too. Taking the helm of this ship is our Head Chef Phillip Dankwa, who has grown the kitchen team over the years, to become a true powerhouse; striving to deliver the highest quality dishes using the best seasonal and freshest British produce available.

We pride ourselves on our delicious British pub classics, fresh fish specials and vibrant vegan dishes, which guests can enjoy with a fine wine in our beautiful restaurant overlooking Dell Quay harbour.

Sundays in Dell Quay are special

For us Sunday is like a big old hearty hug, our roasts are sacred, (in fact, we’d go as far to say as they’re probably the best in the world) think succulent cuts of slow-roasted West-Country beef, larger-than-life Yorkies and boat loads of chef’s proper gravy.

For those who like a bit on the side, you’ll be spoilt for choice, with honey roasted veggies, pigs in blankets and oh-go-on-then truffled cauliflower cheese.

Our January menu will be making an extended stay this February, featuring the finest ingredients and celebrating the best of British provenance.

Available Monday – Friday, 3rd – 28th February. Exclusions may apply.

With two courses for £18 or three courses for £22 (go on… treat yourself to a pud) you shouldn’t need further excuse to get yourself to the pub.

Meet The Chef

Our Head Chef Phyl Dankwa is passionate about using the best of British ingredients from land and sea, sourced as locally as possible.

As the seasons change, so does Phyl’s menu. He works with the best seasonal ingredients to create a menu with variety for all to enjoy.
